How It Started

A garage, a net, and a big idea.

In 2019, our founder James Hartley was a 4-handicap amateur in Venice, Florida watching his game unravel every February after a slow winter. He'd tried a cheap net and a foam mat from a big-box store. They fell apart in six weeks.

What he wanted was the same quality equipment his teaching pro used — gear that actually replicated course conditions, held up to daily use, and delivered data he could act on. It didn't exist at a reasonable price.

So he sourced it. He spent two years working directly with manufacturers in South Korea and the US to spec every product in the Greenside Co. lineup — the same specs tour coaches ask for, at a price serious amateurs can justify.

Today Greenside Co. is trusted by over 18,000 golfers, PGA instructors, and university athletic programs across the country.

We don't inflate stats. Our launch monitor data matches Trackman within 2% across all 14 parameters. Our Stimpmeter ratings are independently verified at two USGA-affiliate facilities.

A Guarantee You Can Use
